The Coast Road Cycle Challenge is your chance to visit and enjoy some world famous Coast hospitality. Along with a rare opportunity to cycle what is now classed as one of the top 10 stretches of road on the planet. Westport to Greymouth, via Punakaiki.
The West Coast, or ‘the Coast’ as locals call it, is a wild place of rivers and rainforests, glaciers and geological treasures. ‘Coasters’ as the locals are known are a bunch of independent, self-reliant and hugely friendly, hospitable people.
