The Cyclezone Rotorua Tour of the Valleys is a classic old-school cycling race / fun-ride run by Cycling Rotorua every year. This year the event has been moved to February 12th, the date of the now-cancelled Bike the Lake event within the highly successful annual Rotorua Bike Festival.
The route goes through the picturesque and very quiet undulating roads of the Waikite Valley, south-west of Rotorua. Options are a single 43km lap or a double 86km option. Start / finish is at the Bluff Club, a 20min drive from central Rotorua. Only $40 for early entries with great spot prizes.
